We purchased this Raleigh M40 for my wife for $25 from someone just looking to clear their garage of extra bikes. My wife will be using it for some very light riding around the neighborhood with our daughter. When we got it, everything was badly out of adjustment. It looked like a lot of random turning of adjustment screws had been done at some point and it had been left that way (I guess they just gave up on the adjustments and likely hadn't actually ridden the bike in a while). A little tightening here and there, a few turns of the screwdriver, a bit of general clean-up and all is well.
