Assassin Bugs

The top image (before clicking to enlarge) shows these assassin bugs at almost exactly the size they were photographed, if your PC screen resolution is set at 1280x1024.  My guess is that they were approximately 1/8-inch long.  Depth of field was a bit of a problem in these shots, but it makes for some interesting images.

Mia's Eye

Below is a macro image of my daughter's eye, followed by three images taken from the first and brought up to full size at native file resolution (without any interpolation or upping the resolution).  In the shot of the pupil and iris, you can actually see the reflection of a newspaper that was on the table in front of my daughter when I took the shot (in case you're wondering what you're seeing in there).  You can also see the reflection of her upper and lower eyelashes, as well as the grass and driveway out the window reflection on the right.  The top light is the 580EX flash mounted on the camera.
