Leeann's Turtles and Tortoises
I recently had the
opportunity to visit with Leeann, a friend of ours in the Houston area who
has quite a collection of turtles, tortoises, snakes and lizards -- reptiles
of all kinds. Some of the photos I took are featured on this page.
These photographs/ are shown in no particular order, but placed somewhat
closely in the order that they were taken. Perhaps with Leeann's help,
I'll be able to attach proper names to each of these beasts. Leeann is
very good with scientific names, but alas, I am not. So I'll let the
camera obscura do the talking in the mean time.
What the heck? (Tortellini caninus,
perhaps?)

The snakenecks below were a little too active for me to photograph with no
flash under indoor lighting.
